Stimulus package?

firefiter asked:

I’ve been told by a CPA that the “rebate” we’re getting due to the economic stimulus package, is an advance on next years’ tax returns. can someone with a serious answer dissuade this? As for the rest of you wasting my time for 2 points, **** OFF!!!

Iam sorry I never heard that . That would be interesting but I just cant see how they could justified it ,do you really? because theres people getting back money that normally don’t get it I think its just a misunderstanding we will deal with that when it comes And I understand how you feel there are some really bored people on this site just ignore them.

He’s sort of right, but it’s an advance on a tax cut for next year, so your refund will end up the same as it would have if the stimulus tax cut and rebate hadn’t happened.
