How do I save my house in Sims 2?

flower asked:

I am getting a new PC. I did a lot of designing in it and would like to just save the house along with the designs, outdoor and in door furniture. I don’t care about anything else. Please help.
Thanks in advance.

go to the option section and you’ll be able to find a drawing of a flash drive, click on it and your work will be saved in the game. saving the game will take a few seconds.

The easiest thing to do would be to save all of your game files and move them to your new PC. The file you need to save is: My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2
Save the entire folder. You’ll get everything you’ve created, plus all of your saved sims, etc, and any custom content you have.

If you really only want the house/lot:
Go to the Neighborhood where you built it.
    Click on the lot.
    Do not enter the lot
One of the options is to package the lot.
    Choose to package the lot.
Save the packaged lot to a removable storage device (flash/thumb drive, external hard drive)
    Or email it to yourself.
